'fight the net': pentagon unveils 'defensive' cyberwar strategy

from time: The Pentagon rolled out its new cyber-defense strategy Thursday, hyping it with the news that foreign hackers (from an unidentified country) invaded the computers of one of its (unidentified) contractors in March and pilfered 24,000 sensitive documents in one fell swoop. Cyber-security is a Pentagon growth area, make no mistake about. Lord knows, I've contributed to the deluge. But it's one of those arcane areas where progress is hard to measure. Is the threat as dire as sometimes portrayed? It's important to realize that the Pentagon doesn't store real secrets on networks linked to the Internet. Nonetheless, the press can't resist stories about offensive cyber warfare. Deputy Defense Secretary William Lynn, who unveiled the new cyber strategy, told an audience at the National Defense University in Washington that "crucial" files -- not "secret" or "top secret" -- have been stolen in recent years. Much taken was of little value, he said: "But a great deal of it concerns our most sensitive systems, including aircraft avionics, surveillance technologies, satellite communications systems and network security protocols." Over breakfast Thursday, Marine General James Cartwright, the vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs, said the Pentagon's current emphasis on cyber defense needs to change. It's currently 90% defensive and 10% offensive; he said those numbers need to be swapped. "This strategy talks more about how we are going to defend the networks," he said. "The next iteration will have to start to talk about here's a strategy that says to the attacker, ‘If you do this, the price to you is going to go up.'" Safe bet the price to us is going to go up, too.

The project started in 1972 is still run from an underground base AL/499 in Peasemore, Berkshire, England, according to his book, "James Casbolt MI6 - Buried Alive" (ch 1-7 pdf). The project is a mind control and genetic manipulation program! Michael Prince aka James Casbolt relates his personal progression from test tube baby, training subjected to growing up and implants. Webre, who lives in British Columbia, covers story that has much of its roots at Fort Nelson, BC.


Michael Prince's super soldier story is so wild, a reader is tempted to dismiss it if not push it actively out of mind! The details offered, unfortunately, have a disquieting element of plausibility. Princes' "tale" includes widespread NSA operations in other countries and the reference to the mind control facility at Fort Nelson as a "Nazi SS Q552 trauma-based mind control training base." Prince aka Casbolt reveals in this interview, borders have little meaning and Nazis are still around. Human affairs are proving more complex than a line on a map!  Prince attests George H W Bush and the Queen Mother were major programmers.

In the book, Prince hints at the truth behind intelligence agencies, "forget about James Bond movies; much of the secret service apparatus in the U.K and U.S is an occult, pedophile network run by corrupt factions of the “Illuminated” degrees of Freemasonry (33rd degree and above)." The most interesting observation made by Prince is when he relates the, "..most important technology the intelligence community uses is scalar/radio sound based." The author provides some details how sound relates to mind control and PSI abilities, also, part of Project Mannequin.

One of Prince's roles as a super soldier was to communicate telepathically with Pleiadians. Prince is of the belief Pleiadian ships surround our planet--the good guys--opposed to the inhumane methods of the Grey/Draco faction. “The simple answer is that I’ve been in direct contact with them since I was child. Part of my role in Project Mannequin was to make telepathic contact with the large Pleiadian mother ships in the outer atmosphere and then pass the messages onto Commander Clavius and other people. This was all done while I was in the tripseat."

The Grey/Draco faction possesses a formidable weapon, a network of crystal-based computers that includes HAARP. The network is referred to as the Tablets of Destiny, which Pleiadians must respect. "Michael Prince’s message is ultimately optimistic. He states that the Military Industrial Extraterrestrial Complex [MIEC] is currently using a “Tablets of Destiny” supercomputer system that includes the HAARP-aerosol/chemtrails and Artificial Intelligence mind control system to attempt planetary ecocide and genocide. Mr. Prince states that the Pleiadian fleet is here to liberate humanity and will be successful." Prince is confident humanity will prevail because of our superior survival dynamics.

This account doesn't do complete justice to Prince's story, an alternative interpretation of the hidden history of alien-human relations is also provided. Prince relates it was the Pleiadians, who declined to enter into a treaty in 1954, because of mankind's refusal of Pleiadian's demand to disarm our nuclear arsenals. Is Prince's story a psyop? The present writer likes Webre and his views but his background of Yale and Stanford Research Institute raises red flags!

major donald keyhoe: early pioneer of ufology

Major Donald Keyhoe, already an established writer, turned UFO researcher when editor Kevin Purdy of True magazine asked him to investigate early sightings in 1949. The Thomas F Mantell incident, a Kentucky Air National Guard pilot, who crashed to his death on January 7, 1948 in a Mustang P51 while in pursuit of a UFO, was among cases Keyhoe asked to examine. Mantell is assumed to have blacked out while in a steep climb. The observed UFO was reported from several vantage points: a control tower at Fort Knox, a Kentucky State Patrolman and observers at an Army air field in Ohio. The two surviving P51 pilots, also in pursuit, saw an object but called it later small and indistinct. The loss of life made UFO phenomena a much more serious issue after Mantell's reported death. The article written by Keyhoe sold well and expanded into the 1950 book (link to a freely available .pdf formatted version), "The Flying Saucers are Real," which sold over half a million copies.

Keyhoe followed with a subsequent book, Flying Saucers from Outer Space and involved in NICAP through fifties and sixties. A link to a 1958 Michael Wallace interview where Keyhoe discusses UFOs and contactees, also, the curious censorship of an earlier interview on Armstrong Circle Theater, which Keyhoe blamed on the Air Force. Is Keyhoe a disinfo agent? Keyhoe, a writer with military background, declared UFOs are from outer space. The present writer finds timeline of sightings that followed World War II closely, where Nazi UFO technology was possibly developed - an apparent continuity of interest!

al-qaida online jihadism overlooked

A Danger Room article reports Obama's counterterrorism crew missing big picture by focusing on physical war theaters and ignoring internet."As the United States attacks al-Qaida’s physical safe havens, the terrorist response is to congregate in online spaces, where they can’t be blown up by a Hellfire missile or shot by a SEAL." The article does find a more concerted effort by US desktop warriors. "Even if the new White House counterterrorism strategy treats the internet like an afterthought, the operational elements of American counterterrorism are more focused. U.S. Central Command is setting up online stings and infiltrating jihadi message boards." It's doubtful, anything online is ignored by intelligence even those in executive branch.

John Brennan, Deputy National Security (DNS) Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, sets the table for imperial agenda and lends piece an air of propaganda. The DNS advisor and assistant to the President, "... called Anwar al-Awlaki, the U.S. citizen now affiliated with al-Qaida’s Yemen branch 'very, very dangerous.' How’d he get that way? Through e-mailing with Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan and would-be Christmas bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. (Well, probably e-mailing; both men say they communicated with one another)."

It's difficult to stomach Brennan's view as Anwar al-Awlaki has taken in a Pentagon lunch with officials, suggestive of intelligence ties. Passenger and attorney Kurt Haskell had a front seat to the tale of The Underwear Bomber and the Sharp Dressed Man. Haskell believes the well-dressed man was US government, who aided "the terrorist" bypass of check-in. Webster Tarpley, political analyst, casts doubt in his fine article, "Major Hasan of Fort Hood: A Patsy In A Drill Gone Live?" on al-Awlaki, al-Qaida and Major Hasan as little more then dupes and patsies in an intelligence-organized foreign(-looking) troupe of actors.

The Danger Room article concludes there are good and bad ways to confront online jihadism, "...but to ignore it might be the biggest unforced error of all." You can determine if White House is overlooking threat and more about al-Qaida in publication, "National Strategy for Counterterrorism," if you can handle it? The only good news is al-Qaida cited more than domestic groups as key threat!

elenin = extinction level event notable impact nemesis

Ground Zero Media's Clyde Lewis provides interesting take on comet Elenin as revealed in the series, "The Event". Lewis admits, "...I literally have tuned out any commentary about Comet Elenin." It's an easily recognizable sentiment in light of overwhelming hype on doomsday scenarios. KXL Ground Zero Live's host notes agitated behavior has now caught his attention, "...whenever there is a comet or some Near earth object coming towards the authorities tend to overreact and there are strange things that go on behind the scenes leading me to believe that even governments and Military get a little unhinged when it comes to space anomalies of this magnitude." Is there more to the hysteria?

Michael Salla, of exopolitics.org, is Lewis' primary source from recent article, "The Event and Comet Elenin," where question posed, "What is the relationship between Comet Elenin and the Event? Perhaps nothing; or, maybe, a very lot indeed." This kind of inquiry is no longer frivolous with past examples of predictive programming in media. In 9-11 lore, "The Lone Gunmen Pilot," is infamous for plot to fly airliner into the World Trade Center. Perhaps of most interest, Bosnian earth scientist Dr Mensur Omerbashich using publicly available tracking software, found correlations between earthquakes and Comet Elenin alignments. Omerbashich's paper on the subject is available in .pdf format here. The paper suggests Elenin is far more massive than a comet, opening door as apparent support for existence of Planet X. Lewis and Salla wonder about possibility?

The TV series was canceled, as conspiracy theorists suggest in Lewis' article, because it got too close to the truth. The talk show host also ties emergency preparations around country as indicative of impending event. Numerology is, also, brought in and provides a "WOW" factor. Lewis implies alignment dates have occult portent, "... Comet Elenin will be at perihelion or the closest to the Sun on 11/9/11 and we will pass directly through its tail in 11/11/11."

Our present dilemma is summarized by Lewis, "...like the TV Show THE EVENT...we will wait and see if we will be renewed for next year...." Everyone seems to be pointing to the fall of 2011 for the event? We only have months to wait and see, whether an earthshaking planet appears in our sky!

Director of Technology Tactical Office at DARPA, David Neyland makes recruitment pitches in search of those who want to do basic scientific research. A Universe Today article notes, "DARPA is known for its brand of 'blue sky science' where the scientific research they do might not have apparent and initial real-world applications." Is the reason the research remains a black project for many years? An explanation of the name is provided in the article, "..Neyland has been working with NASA Ames Director Pete Worden on the concept and Neyland said they chose the name not because they actually want to send a starship on a 100-year mission to space – although that would be the ultimate goal — but they want to capture the imagination of folks who normally wouldn’t think of doing research and development and tag them with something they would be excited about. " The 100 Year Starship Study website requests paper abstracts to stimulate basic research that hopefully lead to future research projects. It sounds like a wonderful opportunity for research scientists.

Another conference, "38th IFPA-Fletcher Conference on National Security Strategy and Policy," brings DARPA's research into the light. Neyland's presentation provides insight, "Some people may be familiar with the F117 having come out of the Have Blue program, but not everybody realizes the things like launch vehicles, the Taurus and the Pegasus, the Global Hawk, the Predator, the A160 today, a number of these things came as DARPA program." Neyland makes a similar recruiting pitch at the conference held last year in Washington DC. and it's clear the research leads to new weapons. The presentation is of interest as it makes DARPA more accessible and a little less in the shadows after reading. I'm still uncertain whether you want to actually climb onboard?

friendship case: il caso amicizia

Memorial weekend italiano extraterrestre stravaganza concludes with the Friendship Case. Il Caso Amicizia comes to light with publication of a book "Mass Contacts" by Stefano Breccia and covered in a 2009 Michael Salla article. The exotic story spans from the mid-fifties to the late seventies and a highly regarded UFO encounter. The story includes telepathy, teleportation, underground and underwater bases, yet remains credible with "... the testimony of Bruno Sammaciccia, a highly qualified Italian scholar with degrees in psychology and psychiatry, and author of 160 books. Sammaciccia’s testimony contains his claims of direct physical contact with extraterrestrials over several decades." Sammaciccia and two friends first encounter two human-looking aliens in April 1956 after an old map took them to a castle near Rocca Pia, Italy. The aliens, although human in appearance, differed markedly in size from Earth inhabitants, one three feet and the other nine feet in height. The encounter marked a beginning in a long relationship between the aliens, who are collectively known as W56 and the close knit circle of Italians, who know and aid them.

Friendship has a cold war theme. W56 concerned about the human race's destructive capacity with nuclear weapons. The aliens ask the group "to help us help you". It is also a good and bad guy morality play with W56, radiating loyalty and love, and an opposing materialistic group, the contrarians or CTRs. The Contrarians, an amoral science-worshipping lot, are one reason W56 established bases in an attempt to counter them. "Eventually, the underground bases of Sammaciccia’s extraterrestrial friends was destroyed in 1978. Survivors had to leave the Earth but promised to return at a future time when humanity was ready for a more ethical future of humanity interacting with extraterrestrials," writes Salla.

The technology makes an extraordinary story and borders on magical. Breccia refers to unstable corridors and underground facilities, which enable W56 to open and close bases like a suitcase. Food is teleported and aliens communicate through regular radio and television with humans. Perhaps, the most astonishing aspect, is the huge W56 base under the Adriatic Sea along the Italian coast or a birdseye view of a nuclear test by a UFO. domestic surveillance court approved all 1,506 warrants in 2010

from threat level: The secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court approved all 1,506 government requests to electronically monitor suspected “agents” of a foreign power or terrorists on U.S. soil last year, according to a Justice Department report released under the Freedom of Information Act. The two-page report, which shows about a 13 percent increase in the number of applications for electronic surveillance between 2009 and 2010, was obtained by the Federation of American Scientists and published Friday. “The FISC did not deny any applications in whole, or in part,” according to the April 19 report to Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada). The 11-member court denied two of 1,329 applications for domestic-intelligence surveillance in 2009. The FBI is the primary agency making those requests. Whether the FISA court, whose business is conducted behind closed doors, is rubber-stamping the requests is a matter of debate... The Justice Department report, meanwhile, said the FBI issued 24,287 “national security letter” requests last year on 14,212 people, “a substantial increase from the 2009 level of 14,788 NSL requests concerning 6,114 U.S. persons,” Aftergood wrote in a blog post. In 2008, there were 24,744 requests regarding 7,225 people.

Symantec, internet security firm and maker of Norton Anti-Virus, issued a recent threat report on proliferation of this cybercrime. Symantec TV also provides eye-opening video: Attack Toolkits in 90 seconds. A News.com.au article surveys threat posed by attack kits. Zeus sells for $700. "Other known crimeware tools include the Fragus Exploit Kit and the Spyeye." An M86 Security Lab Report supplies a nice history and growth of this cyber-threat! A must read for anyone interested in offensive computing!

kecksburg ufo: non-believers vs believers

At 4:45pm on December 9, 1965, many reports of a fireball flooded phones at WHJB radio in nearby Greenburg, PA. Robert Gatty wrote the following story that appeared in the Tribune-Review the next morning, "Unidentified Flying Object Falls near Kecksburg — Army Ropes off Area," Authorities informed residents at the site, it was a meteor crash. By the next day, both, local authorities and the US government denied anything fell and nothing found! Stan Gordon, a 16-year old in 1965 and riveted to radio and TV coverage, marked a beginning of four decades of research into the Kecksburg incident.

Gordon provides perhaps the best description of the object. "...large enough for a man to stand inside of it. The object was a bronze-gold color, and appeared to be one solid piece of metal, displaying no rivets or seams. At the back of the acorn shape was..the bumper area.  Upon this area were unusual markings that..looked similar to ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics."

The following conclusions are made by Gordon after extensive interviews, "based on the accounts of multitudes of eyewitnesses which I have interviewed, I am convinced that an object did fall from the sky and apparently was removed by the military. Other witnesses say they saw NASA personnel at the scene that night also involved in the search".

A Sightings episode covers "bitter controversy" of a coverup and animosity between believers and non-believers in the Kecksburg UFO. There are professionals who argue for a meteor, "The Fireball of December 8, 1965-Part I," and others such as James Oberg argue debris from Kosmos 96, a failed Russian satellite.

Leslie Kean, an investigative reporter, provides a recent summary of the Kecksburg controversy, "Forty Years of Secrecy: NASA, The Military and the 1965 Kecksburg Crash<," and adds a couple of updates. In 2003, it was determined damage to top of trees in the woods near Kecksburg confirm something crashed there. Kean also cites Nicholas Johnston, a leading orbital debris expert, who asserts time of crash eliminates the Russian satellite.The present writer believes the strongest argument of an important event, is the fate of John Murphy, a WHJB reporter, who produced a radio special, "Object in the Woods". The WHJB office manager at the time reveals on this UFO files episode, Murphy received a visit by government men and lost all enthusiasm for the project and aired an edited broadcast.

The Wikipedia entry adds, "after the airing, Murphy became uncharacteristically despondent and completely stopped all investigation on the case and refused to talk to anyone about it again, and never gave clear reasons why. In February 1969, Murphy was struck and killed by an unidentified car in an apparent hit-and-run while crossing a road. The hit-and-run occurred near Ventura, California while Murphy was on vacation." Murphy's fate, irreconcilable differences among Kecksburg residents and numerous debunking efforts, are strongest arguments, for a government coverup of an important retrieval event!

from cnet: The White House today proposed sweeping revisions to U.S. copyright law, including making "illegal streaming" of audio or video a federal felony and allowing FBI agents to wiretap suspected infringers. In a 20-page white paper (PDF), the Obama administration called on the U.S. Congress to fix "deficiencies that could hinder enforcement" of intellectual property laws... In October 2008, President Bush signed into law the so-called Pro IP ACT, which created Espinel's position and increased penalties for infringement, after expressing its opposition to an earlier version. Unless legislative proposals--like one nearly a decade ago implanting strict copy controls in digital devices--go too far, digital copyright tends not to be a particularly partisan topic. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act, near-universally disliked by programmers and engineers for its anti-circumvention section, was approved unanimously in the U.S. Senate. At the same time, Democratic politicians tend to be a bit more enthusiastic about the topic. Biden was a close Senate allypicked top copyright industry lawyers for Justice Department posts of copyright holders, and President Obama. Last year, Biden warned that "piracy is theft." No less than 78 percent of political contributions from Hollywood went to Democrats in 2008, which is broadly consistent with the trend for the last two decades, according to OpenSecrets.org.

cyber 3.0 and working towards rules governing cyber conflict

US Deputy Defense Secretary William Lynn III outlines Cyber 3.0 five part plan at a recent cybersecurity conference. The five parts are: 1) a need for cybercommandos for cybermissions, 2) active defenses for military networks, 3) ensure US infrastructure is protected (military will make resources available to private sector),  4) cooperative defenses with allies, and 5) maintaining preeminence in cybserspace. Part three presents privacy issues and part five appears to go beyond defense objectives. You can view Sec. Lynn's speech here that also includes references to Einstein 3.0, a newer version of an intrusion detection system mandated by the Homeland Security Act, which will monitor government computer traffic on private sites!

The cybersecurity conference sponsored by the East West Institute, a New York City think tank, seeks to define "rules of the road" for cyber conflict according to their website. The two biggest participants, Russia and United States, made joint recommendations, "Working Toward Rules for Governing Cyber Conflict"(pdf). The paper trumpets the application of principles from the Geneva Convention to cyberwar. Is this a control matrix taking shape right before our eyes? Will oligarchs reach agreement to dominate world?

Clyde Lewis stirred old myths on his Sunday night show, Ground Zero Live, with interview of Douglas Dietrich, a former San Francisco Presidio military librarian, who answered calls for Col. Michael Aquino. Dietrich proved himself, both, articulate and provocative by raising possible links unfamiliar to listeners. The former librarian points to Japanese dirigible tech (pictured) as a likely actor in the 1942 Battle of Los Angeles. Dietrich expressed views on Nazi UFOs, Antarctica and private space programs. Clyde and his guest discussed origins of the term "Black Sun", as derived from a German and Japanese Aryan belief - a Black Hole - lies at the center of every galaxy. The least familiar link made, was perhaps, Operation Argus as another salvo in the secret war against Nazi Flugelrads! Cybersecurity expert Peter Sommer of the London School of Economics warns nations against following Pentagon's lead of developing a military division to defend against cyber threats in recent article at NewScientist website. "The military can only defend its own networks not the private-sector critical networks we all depend on for gas, water, electricity and banking, making such military efforts a waste of taxpayers' money." Sommer, co-author of a very readable new report, "Reducing Systemic Cybersecurity Risk", advises governments should quit panicking and take a disciplined approach. It's, possibly, time to sit up and take notice when advice is coming from the author of "The Hacker's Handbook," first published in 1985.

The report casts doubt whether cyberwarfare will ever have global significance on a scale, of say, a pandemic or a bank run. Sommer feels it's more likely attacks on the internet's routing structure will cause pockets of misery at the local level. PricewaterhouseCoopers security manager Jay Abbott, also, believes the routing structure is vulnerable. "Short of physically cutting the wires, it's the best way to take down a country from the internet." It makes an interesting read to take in opinions of cybersecurity experts.

Northrop Grumman published a study of China's capability to conduct cyberwarfare last year. The present writer suggests at least surveying, "An Operational Profile of An Advanced Cyber Intrusion". The section contains a very readable review of a sophisticated data collection operation and intrusion upon large US company networks. It's an education. ZDNET Asia provides a more disturbing quote from the same document in, "China's US $90b ups cyberwar stakes,"... document also claimed the country has stockpiled a kinetic arsenal that includes lasers, high-power microwave systems and nuclear-generated electromagnetic pulses to supplement its cyber warfare force. It also claimed the country is training its forces to work under 'complex electromagnetic conditions'." This represents serious and sober preparation for knocking out and operating computer systems under very harsh and adverse conditions. It's war preparation, clearly!

earth must prepare for close encounter with aliens!

from guardian: World governments should prepare a co-ordinated action plan in case Earth is contacted by aliens, according to scientists. They argue that a branch of the UN must be given responsibility for "supra-Earth affairs" and formulate a plan for how to deal with extraterrestrials, should they appear. The comments are part of an extraterrestrial-themed edition of the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A published today. In it, scientists examine all aspects of the search for extraterrestrial life, from astronomy and biology to the political and religious fallout that would result from alien contact. "Will a suitable process based on expert advice from proper and responsible scientists arise at all, or will interests of power and opportunism more probably set the scene?" asked Professor John Zarnecki of the Open University and Dr Martin Dominik of the University of St Andrews in the introductory paper. "A lack of co-ordination can be avoided by creating an overarching framework in a truly global effort governed by an international politically legitimated body." The pair argue that the UN has a ready-made mechanism for such a forum in its Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (Copuos).

Pilkington begins with the Air Forces' "Project Grudge, an early effort "to study" unidentified flying objects (ufos), but intended primarily to suppress public interest. The effort proved successful, until Donald Keyhoe wrote a 1950 article that exposed the Air Force coverup in True Magazine, and later, expanded into a book, "The Flying Saucers Are Real". Keyhoe transformed ufos into a respectable topic, "the era of scientific ufology was born", writes Pilkington.

The ufo myth, as we know it, took form from a series of events, according to Pilkington, the first a film release in September 1951 of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" (link to full film) that "perfectly crystallised" the hopes and fears of the flying saucer movement, what an alien encounter could bring with Christ-like Klaatu's message of peace and his robot enforcer, Gort, capable of destroying the Earth. The film sparked a surge of ufo sightings and many within the armed services, which prompted the Air Force to issue JANAP 146(B), where servicemen could be imprisoned for up to ten years and fined 10,000 dollars for release of ufo information.


Another boost to ufology came from a Aprill 1952 Life Magazine article, "Have We Visitors from Space?", which surprised many by its pro-extraterrestrial message in light of the authors spending a year consulting with the Air Force.  US newspapers carried over 16,000 ufo news items in the first six months of 1952 alone. By this time, ufo phenomena made policymakers nervous, CIA Director Walter B. Smith wrote in a letter, "...problems associated with unidentified flying objects appear to have implications for psycho­logical warfare as well as for intelligence and operations.” Smith’s concerns would prove to be uncannily prescient." The nervousness--the result of a combination of technology and paranoia--that characterized the Cold War with the former Soviet Union. Authorities were at war with ufology.

"On two nights in July 1952, a number of unidentified objects blipped onto radar screens at Washington DC National Airport. At close to midnight on the first night, 19–20 July, seven objects were tracked 24km from the capital city, gradually homing in on the White House at about 160km/h. A bright, orange ball of light was seen from nearby Andrews Air Force Base, making “a kind of circular movement” according to an airman on the scene, before taking off at “an incredible speed” and disappearing. Six bright white, fast-moving lights were also spotted by the pilot of a passenger jet flying in the area," reports Pilkington.

The DC overflights resulted in a media flurry, a press conference called the largest since World War II. The event described by Edward Ruppelt, first head of the Air Force Project Blue Book and coined the term "ufo", as a chaotic affair in his 1956 memoir, "The Report on Unidentied Flying Objects".  A link to a .mp3 recording of Ruppelt's book, which can be downloaded for free, is available here  from Librivox--very nice.

Leon Davidson, a chemical engineer at Los Alamos in the late forties, is the lost prophet of ufology, according to Pilkington.  The engineer joined a ufo group at Los Alamos fascinated by the green fireballs seen in New Mexico.  Davidson came to believe "...secret military tests lay behind these and most other UFO incidents, including the Washington overflights."

Davidson recognized similarities between descriptions of radar blips over Washington DC and those created by electronic counter measures and felt he knew who was behind it. "ECM + CIA = UFO or How to Cause a Radar Sighting" was an essay written by Davidson to expose the intelligence source responsible for the sightings. A great case is made for an intelligence operation by the engineer and points out the DC event was predicted by a CIA scientist and related to Ruppelt just a few days before it occurred!

"So were the Washington UFOs an early attempt to put the galloping ghosts under human control,"  Pilkington asks rhetorically in conclusion?   The author believes the ufo community would look different today if it had paid attention to the lost prophet, Davidson!  Pilkington's conclusion is the sightings are black operations not aliens!  A great read--a story that just keeps on giving!

tarpley's take on wikileaks

Webster Tarpley reveals the self-exposure operation of Wikileaks on the Alex Jones Show recently. Julian Assange is a MK-Ultra zombie, the product of an Australian mind control cult led by Anne Hamilton-Byrne, in Tarpley's view. Assange's peroxide blonde hair color is noted as significant, as the Australian cult members' hair was dyed peroxide blonde or platinum, and reveals his cult ties. Assange is compared to Daniel Ellsberg and may be an expendible intelligence asset? Tarpley summarizes the Wikileaks document dumps, observing there are no damaging references to a George W. Bush or Richard Cheney and concludes they are most damaging to the CIA's enemies. Tarpley believes Wikileaks is the product of White House information czar, Cass Sunstein. mission to dark side of moon by 2016?

Lockheed Martin engineers want to send astronauts into stationary orbit above the dark side of the Moon, according to recent article at www.dailymail.co.uk. The orbit attained with the combined gravity of the Earth and Moon at the second LaGrange point, making a stable synchronized orbit above the far side possible. This is the L-2 designation. They intend to use remote controlled rovers to probe the South Pole-Aitken basin. A second goal is deployment of a low-frequency radio telescope shielded from the Earth's radio noise. The six month mission would also measure the endurance of astronauts and equipment to space radiation as a warm up for a trip to Mars. The aerospace giant is selling its L-2 Farside Mission Orion (pdf) spacecraft as the right vehicle for the job. The mission could take place as early as 2016 with NASA's approval.

The South Pole-Aitken basin is one of the oldest, largest and deepest basins on the lunar surface. Scientists are interested in obtaining rock samples at the bottom of the basin in hopes of learning more about the moon's history and formation.
