Atlantis carries a crew of four and the Raffaello multipurpose logistics module containing supplies and spare parts for the space station. The STS-135 astronauts are: Commander Chris Ferguson, Pilot Doug Hurley, and Mission Specialists Sandy Magnus and Rex Walheim."

hacker gary mckinnon update

Blogger Grant Lawrence reminds us in recent Alternet post, "Mckinnon has said consistently in numerous interviews that the US has advanced Space Fleets that are capable of star travel. He has never backed down from his assertions. Maybe Mckinnon has not said all he knows." A reader should ask what lies behind intense efforts to extradite McKinnon? Lawrence asks in a similar vein, "But what is making the US government so adamant about bringing Mckinnon to justice in the US?" Lawrence is led to a conclusion, the facts of the case would lead many of us, "maybe it is because Gary Mckinnon spilled the beans on what he saw and he shouldn’t have... Secret technologies are evidently supposed to be secret no matter how it would benefit humanity."


A 2006 Wired article, "'UFO Hacker' Tells What He Found," shows McKinnon freely providing details of his hacking adventure, "A NASA photographic expert said that there was a Building 8 at Johnson Space Center where they regularly airbrushed out images of UFOs from the high-resolution satellite imaging. I logged on to NASA and was able to access this department. They had huge, high-resolution images stored in their picture files. They had filtered and unfiltered, or processed and unprocessed, files. My dialup 56K connection was very slow trying to download one of these picture files. As this was happening, I had remote control of their desktop, and by adjusting it to 4-bit color and low screen resolution, I was able to briefly see one of these pictures. It was a silvery, cigar-shaped object with geodesic spheres on either side. There were no visible seams or riveting. There was no reference to the size of the object and the picture was taken presumably by a satellite looking down on it. The object didn't look manmade or anything like what we have created. Because I was using a Java application, I could only get a screenshot of the picture -- it did not go into my temporary internet files. At my crowning moment, someone at NASA discovered what I was doing and I was disconnected."

Is there more than McKinnon has revealed? It's the only sufficient explanation for the sustained pressure on the hacker, over the years, a constant reminder to remain quiet. a rare eclipse of midnight sun

A midnight eclipse is possible if you live in a region at the time of year when the sun does not set, it sounds like a contradiction but an eclipse could occur at any hour. The picture at left shows a midnight eclipse taken from northern Sweden on July 31, 2000. A Space Daily article by NASA writer Tony Phillips reports the greatest eclipse occurs on June 1st at 21:16 Universal Time, "...an eclipse of magnitude 0.601 will be visible from the Arctic coast of western Siberia as the midnight sun skirts the northern horizon." Tomorrow's eclipse will be twice as deep as the one pictured, but many believe will enhance any picture potential with the promise of "...a crescent, surrounded by the red and orange hues of a sunset sky." space trackers: judica cordiglia bros.

A memorial weekend italiano extraterrestre stravaganza provided for your pleasure! Let's go Space Truckin'. First, the amazing Judica Cordiglia brothers who tracked radio transmissions of early space missions. In the late fifties, Achille and Giovanni set up an amateur tracking station just outside Turin, Italy in a former convalescent home at a place they called Torre Bert. Soviet secrecy inspired the two to seek out their communications. Turin, in Northern Italy, made Soviets the program of choice, since launches in the Caucasus flew over them. The brothers soon realized the need for additional help to make their station work. Maria Theresa, a sister, learned Russian to become their interpreter. Giovanni's fiancee, Laura Furbatto, became organizer of a worldwide network of amateur tracking stations: the Zeus Network.

The Cordiglia brothers became local space experts that led to a invitation on The Fair of Dreams (Fiera dei Sogni), a quiz show. The brothers won and the winnings afforded a personal visit in 1964 to NASA, a dream fulfilled. The amateur space trackers successfully intercepted beeps of Sputnik 1, Explorer 1, heard the dog Laika's heartbeat during Sputnik 2 and John Glenn's Mercury Friendship 7 flight. The amateur space trackers' career culminated with the Apollo 11 moon landing on June,20, 1969. The brothers soon realized though, television had taken away the mystery and with it their hobby was "finito", ended.

Notoriety follows the Cordiglia brothers with allegations their purported recordings of lost cosmonauts are fake. A prior post on the topic is also available, "lost cosmonauts: airbrushed from memory." The recordings include an "SOS to the World" in Morse Code from a soviet spacecraft as it fades into outer space on November, 28, 1960. The labored breathing and heartbeat of an unconscious cosmonaut near death recorded February 2, 1961. A heartrending plea of a woman cosmonaut as she burns up on re-entry May 23, 1961. "Space Hackers The Judica Brothers" is a recent documentary of the Cordiglia brothers and the Torre Bert enclave and a wonderful story! Soviets irritated by the brothers' monitoring, once threw an aspersion the two were "space gangsters". Don't miss it! endeavour launch, mission facts & illuminati numbers

Endeavour, STS-134, launched on time from the Kennedy Space Center at 8:56 am, ET, today. Atlantis is scheduled for launch this summer in the final flight of the Space Shuttle program. You can download a STS-134 Mission Fact Sheet and, if you missed it, you can take in the mission launch here on YouTube. The live commentary is pointed with infobits for viewers. Shuttle rockets are burning 11,000 pounds of fuel per second and the entire package loses half its weight in the first two minutes! What kind of fuel bill is that? Conspiracy theorists on the web see a heavy Illuminati signature on the Endeavour mission. You can view one blogger's attempt to look at the numbers at AboveTopSecret.com. It only gets interesting when a comparison is made to the tragic Columbia mission. There are sixteen days separating Columbia's launch until its tragic breakup on February 1, 2003. Endeavour postponed for sixteen days and also scheduled to return on the first of the month, June 1st. The blogger sees inverted 911s throughout.


The present writer strongly suspects secret society ties to NASA and what appears to be twilight language in its naming conventions. A previous post reports what may be coded words or twilight communication. "The ENTERPRISE of the United States (COLUMBIA), shall be destroyed after completing its mission. CHALLENGERs shall be destroyed before completing their mission and replaced by our last British led ENDEAVOUR, for the DISCOVERY of ATLANTIS". Endeavour is named after the ship of British Explorer Captain James Cook and wonder where it will lead?

from usa today: The space shuttle Endeavour stood poised for its final launch Sunday on Kennedy Space Center's launch pad 39A. Endeavour, with a crew of six astronauts, is scheduled to blast off this morning at 8:56 on NASA's next-to-last shuttle mission. NASA officials said Sunday that conditions — from weather to technical issues - couldn't look much better. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., the critically wounded wife of mission commander Mark Kelly, arrived Sunday at Kennedy Space Center, her staff reported... Her staff says she will not make any public appearances. Her launch viewing location has not been disclosed. The staff plans to hold a press conference after the launch. President Obama, who came for the initial launch try, will not attend. He will be in Memphis visiting residents flooded out of their homes.

Joining Kelly on the 16-day trip to the International Space Station are pilot Greg Johnson and mission specialists Greg Chamitoff, Drew Feustel, Mike Fincke and Roberto Vittori of the European Space Agency. Endeavour's grand finale is a 16-day mission to deliver a $2 billion cosmic ray detector to the space station. Also flying in the shuttle's expansive cargo bay: a pallet of large spare parts that will help keep the outpost operating through at least 2020. The flight is Endeavour's 25th since a maiden voyage 19 years ago this month. The youngest shuttle orbiter was built after Challenger and its crew were lost in 1986. The Endeavour mission faces schedule challenges as a result of the two-week slip. The delay knocked the work schedules of the shuttle and station crews out of sync.

voyager adventure in three minutes

A wonderful three minute NASA video provides story of Voyager spacecraft launched in 1977, a link provided via article at Universe Today. The video celebrates contributions made by the two craft as they near Interstellar Space. Ed Stone, California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, a Voyager Project Scientist, estimates in an article at NASA website, "...heliosheath is 3 to 4 billion miles in thickness...[which]...means we'll be out within five years or so...In many ways, the heliosheath is not like our models predicted".

The video and article relate details of Golden Record, "The Sounds of Earth". "Each probe is famously equipped with a Golden Record, literally, a gold-coated copper phonograph record. It contains 118 photographs of Earth; 90 minutes of the world's greatest music; an audio essay entitled Sounds of Earth (featuring everything from burbling mud pots to barking dogs to a roaring Saturn 5 liftoff); greetings in 55 human languages and one whale language; the brain waves of a young woman in love; and salutations from the secretary general of the United Nations. A team led by Carl Sagan assembled the record as a message to possible extraterrestrial civilizations that might encounter the spacecraft." You can only imagine what the record would bring at auction? It's an interesting story to revisit 33 years later!

from azstarnet: U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords remains in Florida, as NASA officials target Monday afternoon for the launch of the space mission her husband is commanding. The spacecraft Endeavour had been expected to lift off Friday afternoon. The mission, led by Capt. Mark Kelly, was scuttled slightly more than three hours before takeoff because of technical issues. Giffords traveled to Florida last Wednesday on a first-ever break from her Houston rehabilitation hospital. She’s recovering from a serious brain injury suffered Jan. 8, when she was shot through the head in an assassination attempt that killed six people and injured 12 others.

comet elenin coming dates

Apocalyptic passions have stirred since the discovery, last December, of Comet Elenin. The amateur discoverer Leonid Elenin has been the subject of conspiracy. ELE, the first three letters of the surname, can be interpreted as an acronym for Extinction Level Event. The comet approaches out of Constellation LEO, which may be an allusion to first three letters of the first name. Suspicions are expressed online Elenin is not even a real person--just a code name. Last month, Dutchsinse reported on a video that suddenly disappeared from NASA's Buzzroom, where the comet's calculated pass is believed very close, 40,000 miles! space junk: vanguard 1

Debris in space is a growing concern. Space Junk has made a necessity of cataloging space objects, the launch of a surveillance satellite, and will result in more near earth collisions. Vanguard 1 launched on March 17, 1958, the fourth artificial satellite and first to use solar cells(pictured), remains in medium earth orbit at a minimum altitude 400 miles above Earth. The orbit insures the satellite remains aloft for centuries and the oldest surviving man-made object in space.

At the time of launch, for perspective, Dick Powell's Zane Grey Theatre first aired "the Sharpshooter," which later ran as a series, "The Rifleman". This was a Navy launch as NASA only became operational on October 1, 1958. "Tequila" by the Champs became a surprise hit and number 1 song on pop charts.

Vanguard 1, six inches in diameter and a weight of three pounds, was dubbed "the grapefruit satellite" by Nikita Kruschev an unfavorable comparison to the more muscular 200lb. Sputnik. Vanguard 1 has orbited the Earth over 200,000 times. Will private enterprise clean up space with salvage operations? A small Vanguard 1 would make a great piece of space memorabilia! There are over 20,000 large objects in earth orbit. Will smaller objects provide plausible cover for laser fire by parties engaged in covert space wars?

assange: internet greatest spying machine

Wikileaks co-founder Julian Assange warned Cambridge students, who waited hours to hear him speak, internet is "greatest spying machine the world has ever seen," in article at guardian.co.uk. Assange continued, "It [the web] is not a technology that favours freedom of speech. It is not a technology that favours human rights. It is not a technology that favours civil life. Rather it is a technology that can be used to set up a totalitarian spying regime, the likes of which we have never seen. Or, on the other hand, taken by us, taken by activists, and taken by all those who want a different trajectory for the technological world, it can be something we all hope for." Has Assange been directed to convince Anglo-American elite the internet represents a threat? The present writer views Assange as an agent for the global elite and enjoys a relationship with Israel as related in a previous post here.

Assange also responded to an inquiry about Bradley Manning, "we have no idea whether he is one of our sources. All our technology is geared up to make sure we have no idea...there is no allegation that he was arrested as the result of anything to do with us. The allegation is that he was arrested as a result of him speaking to Wired magazine in the United States."

Is Assange's message shutdown the internet to stop "totalitarian spying regime"? Is there a war on technology? It seems, both, the web and nuclear power are under attack. The global elite do not fancy technology as it represents a challenge to their control and domination!

nasa scientist finds evidence of alien life

from digital trends: Aliens exist, and we have proof.

That astonishingly awesome claim comes from Dr. Richard B. Hoover, an astrobiologist at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, who says he has found conclusive evidence of alien life - fossils of bacteria found in an extremely rare class of meteorite called CI1 carbonaceous chondrites. (There are only nine such meteorites on planet Earth.) Hoover’s findings were published late Friday night in the Journal of Cosmology, a peer-reviewed scientific journal.

“I interpret it as indicating that life is more broadly distributed than restricted strictly to the planet earth,” Hoover, who has spent more than 10 years studying meteorites around the world, told FoxNews.com in an interview. “This field of study has just barely been touched — because quite frankly, a great many scientist [sic] would say that this is impossible.”

Hoover discovered the fossils by breaking apart the CI1 meteorite, and analyzing the exposed rock with a scanning-electron microscope and a field emission electron-scanning microscope, which allowed him to detect any fossil remains. What he found were fossils of micro-organisms (pictured here), many of which he says are strikingly similar to those found on our own planet (pictured above).
