The I Know What I Saw website provides the following synopsis of a UFO film by James Fox. "'I Know What I Saw' is a new UFO documentary guaranteed to change the way we see the universe. Director, James Fox assembled the most credible UFO witnesses from around the world to testify at The National Press Club in Washington D.C.: Air Force Generals, astronauts, military and commercial pilots, government and FAA officials from seven countries tell stories that, as Governor Fife Symington from Arizona stated, 'will challenge your reality'." The film includes interviews of former Iranian pilot Parviz Jafari, who related his 1976 UFO encounter over Tehran. There's also several interviews of Stephenville, TX residents, who witnessed in January 2008 a huge silent UFO there. The descriptions are very similiar in both the Stephenville, TX UFO and those of the craft to literally fly over much of Arizona in the Phoenix Lights case. It's a huge dull matte black finish or bluish black UFO that blocks out much of the sky and has a wavy "heat mirage" image quality. The present writer keeps thinking the military is laughing at us "plebs". A well-done film that is well worth 90 minutes of your time.

elenin = extinction level event notable impact nemesis
Ground Zero Media's Clyde Lewis provides interesting take on comet Elenin as revealed in the series, "The Event". Lewis admits, "...I literally have tuned out any commentary about Comet Elenin." It's an easily recognizable sentiment in light of overwhelming hype on doomsday scenarios. KXL Ground Zero Live's host notes agitated behavior has now caught his attention, "...whenever there is a comet or some Near earth object coming towards the authorities tend to overreact and there are strange things that go on behind the scenes leading me to believe that even governments and Military get a little unhinged when it comes to space anomalies of this magnitude." Is there more to the hysteria?
Michael Salla, of exopolitics.org, is Lewis' primary source from recent article, "The Event and Comet Elenin," where question posed, "What is the relationship between Comet Elenin and the Event? Perhaps nothing; or, maybe, a very lot indeed." This kind of inquiry is no longer frivolous with past examples of predictive programming in media. In 9-11 lore, "The Lone Gunmen Pilot," is infamous for plot to fly airliner into the World Trade Center. Perhaps of most interest, Bosnian earth scientist Dr Mensur Omerbashich using publicly available tracking software, found correlations between earthquakes and Comet Elenin alignments. Omerbashich's paper on the subject is available in .pdf format here. The paper suggests Elenin is far more massive than a comet, opening door as apparent support for existence of Planet X. Lewis and Salla wonder about possibility?
The TV series was canceled, as conspiracy theorists suggest in Lewis' article, because it got too close to the truth. The talk show host also ties emergency preparations around country as indicative of impending event. Numerology is, also, brought in and provides a "WOW" factor. Lewis implies alignment dates have occult portent, "... Comet Elenin will be at perihelion or the closest to the Sun on 11/9/11 and we will pass directly through its tail in 11/11/11."
Our present dilemma is summarized by Lewis, "...like the TV Show THE EVENT...we will wait and see if we will be renewed for next year...." Everyone seems to be pointing to the fall of 2011 for the event? We only have months to wait and see, whether an earthshaking planet appears in our sky!

planet x and mysterious death of dr robert harrington
Popular Planet X doomsday scenarios surface regularly to remind us of its myth and mystery. An e-mail exchange at rense.com offers one listener's view followed by a rebuttal by yet another unnamed source. The opposing views highlight nicely arguments for and against the existence of an unknown large object in our solar system! The first e-mail asserts Pioneer 10 and twin Pioneer 11, launched in the seventies to find Planet X and summarizes other arguments which brought intense interest to the search. "September 10, 1984 US News and World Report declared in the article 'Planet X - Is It Really Out There?' that NASA had indeed found something approximately 50 billion miles away. Then in a 1992 press release NASA stated that, 'Unexplained deviations in the orbits of Uranus and Neptune point to a large outer solar system body of 4 to 8 earth masses on a highly tilted orbit, beyond [ONLY] 7 billion miles from the sun'". Dr. Robert S Harrington, a professional astronomer, also convinced, using same methods employed to detect Pluto and its moon, wrote in 1988, "The Location of Planet X," for the Astronomical Journal.
Harrington, chief astronomer at the U.S. Naval Observatory, took an 8-inch telescope in 1991 to Black Birch, New Zealand, an optimal spot for sighting Planet X according to writers John Dinardo and Janice Manning in, "Planet X and the Mysterious Death of Dr. Robert Harrington." In just two years, the astronomer had died of esophageal cancer and many question the timing and rapid demise at age 50. "By analyzing time-lapse photographs using the "blink comparison" technique, originated by famed Pluto discoverer, Clyde Tombaugh, Dr. Harrington proved that Planet X was indeed inbound into our Solar System. Harrington sent back reports of this ominous discovery, but died of what was reported to be esophageal cancer before he could pack up his telescope and come home to hold what would have been a highly publicized press conference." Is this the truth?
In rebuttal, the second anonymous email at rense.com dispatches many persuasive points with minimum words. Harrington credited with reigniting search for Planet X with calculations Pluto too small to account for perturbation in Uranus and Neptune orbits, second email concludes Planet X was never found. Is this the truth or is truth suppressed? It continues with dismissing twin Pioneer probes as not experiencing any perturbations in their trajectories. Voyager 2 found Neptune to be less massive than previously thought, thus accounting for its 'apparent' orbital perturbances. The most difficult argument is the the Infra-Red Astronomical Satellite (IRAS) which detected a large object not once but twice in six months. The response is perhaps most crafty of all with, "we don't know what it is?" The IRAS data found the object in same location after six months and implies data hints it's not a planet or there would be movement? Is this the truth? Or is the object too far away to measure movement with any accuracy?
On an intuitive level, a mind suspects something is up? Many preparations are underway such as the Svalbard Seed Vault and current wave of underground shelters. Is it too much to suspect, oligarchs are behaving as if they know their countless misdeeds will never be punished?

hercolubus, nibiru, nemesis, planet x or tyche
A red or brown dwarf--or perhaps--just a gas giant four times the size of Jupiter may lie beyond the heliosphere in the Oort Cloud at the outer reaches of our solar system. The mystery sphere remains a story that refuses to die, this week its name is Tyche! Nancy Atkinson writes dismissively in a Universe Today article, whether the Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer(WISE) already captured raw data that may determine the existence of a new planet. Atkinson criticizes The Independent article for suggesting a possible find. The article seems to simply indulge, however, the enthusiasm of professors John Matese and Daniel Whitmire, who have hypothesized about the existence of Tyche for many years. Matese and Whitmire believe the mathematics to be irrefutable. You can read their latest paper, "Persistent evidence for a jovian mass solar companion in the Oort cloud," for the statistical arguments. The Louisiana at Lafayette astrophysicists dubbed their mystery sphere Tyche, the good sister of goddess Nemesis. Nemesis was a name suggested to help explain mass extinction events on Earth. You can read about the Nemesis Theory here. You can also view a You Tube video, "Scientists Getting Wise about Nemesis: Invisible Star Shooting Comets at Earth".
Nibiru is the name popularized by Zecharia Sitchin's work: The 12th Planet and refers to the winged or horned disc (pictured). Planet X is a label used to refer to many unknown bodies and first used in theorizing about the existence of Planets beyond Neptune. Hercolubus or red planet is a name given to the mystery sphere in a book by V M Rabolu. It seems regardless of the name, you have to ask, "where there's smoke, there's fire"? There is something dark, lurking at the outer edges of our solar system!

iras detected planet x in 1983?

Did the Infrared Astronomical Satellite (IRAS) make the long sought discovery after its 1983 launch? A 1984 article, Planet X--Is It Really Out There?, confirmed: "Last year, the infrared astronomical satellite (IRAS), circling in a polar orbit 560 miles from the Earth, detected heat from an object about 50 billion miles away that is now the subject of intense speculation." A reader can be their own judge why this event went without notice?
The art of planet discovery began in 1781 when English astronomer William Herschel found Uranus. Astronomers observed a wobble in the newest planet's orbit and inferred another body must be exerting a gravitational influence. Finally, in the 1840s, Neptune's discovery followed those earlier observations. But Neptune was itself affected and led to the belief an even more remote planet must be influencing it. William H. Pickering and Percival Lowell, two American astronomers in the late 19th century, "...predicted the size and approximate location of the trans-Neptunian body, which Lowell called Planet X," as related in a 1983 New York Times article, "Clues Get Warm in the Search for Planet X," by John Noble Wilford.
"Recent calculations by the United States Naval Observatory have confirmed the orbital perturbation exhibited by Uranus and Neptune, which Dr. Thomas C. Van Flandern, an astronomer at the observatory, says could be explained by “a single undiscovered planet.” He and a colleague, Dr. Robert Harrington, calculate that the 10th planet should be two to five times more massive than Earth and have a highly elliptical orbit that takes it some 5 billion miles beyond that of Pluto – hardly next-door but still within the gravitational influence of the Sun."
Planet discovery remains guesswork although much more refined with the aid of computer models. Wilford reported in the same article, "But according to Dr. Ray T. Reynolds of the Ames Research Center in Mountain View, CA, other astronomers 'are so sure of the 10th planet, they think there’s nothing left but to name it'.” Today, most astronomers dismiss the existence of a tenth planet, or Planet X, as Lowell defined it.
But, the existence of an object 50 billion miles away was reported by newspapers and magazines in the early eighties. It follows a pattern, where early reports can be quickly erased into a black hole of short term memory, if the news makes powerful parties uncomfortable! You have to ask, why was a news event suppressed almost thirty years ago?
