Cosmic connection: a wedge of a moon, Big Dipper clear skies
Today Good Friday, why is it called Good?
Christians today try to do a cosmic dance,
Mirroring their Lord on the journey toward His death to advance,
Disciples desert, women with him stood.
Let us go confident to the mercy's throne,
Finding help in timely need,
He has experienced all human weakness without sin Judas' misdeed,
Learning through his obedience to suffer made perfect by becoming he source of salvation to condone.
A violent man Barabbas saved, Jesus condemned crucified,
Christians today walk the way with him, our mentor
Serving in soup kitchens, St Vincent de Paul centers
How can we not mourn this loss, be open to the pain of others in order to be unified.
Christ became obedient even unto death on the cross.
Help us, O Father, to in our dance embrace this cost. Share this: Email Facebook Digg
