Here's the poem from Teresa and I for today:
POEM FOR APRIL 2 , 2011
Jonquils merry laugh at day break greets
Drunkenly celebrate new light
Offering winks, chirps at wrens
Squirrels scowl at bright birds
Limb dashing pirates
Rascally thieves
Crow objects
April
Morn.
Its NaPoWriMo create a poem a day each and every day of April. 30-30.
Be creative, have fun, stick to it. If I can do this, you can do this.
It's better than watching TV!!!!!!
A Nonnet : has nine lines
The first line has 9 syllables, the second 8 syllables, the third 7 syllables until the ninth line which has one syllable.
Should have an iambic meter (stress every other syllable) baDAbaDAbaDA or BAdaBAdaBAda etc.
You may use this prompt for tomorrow poem is you'd like. If you miss a day or two—it's okay. Even better you can make up a day later when you have more time.
