Milton’s Paradise Lost–Book 1 | ktsurdan
The whole opening is just elaborately describing that this was written to show the wrong doings of Adam and Eve eating the apple and then their repercussions. Who is the muse? and who is speaking? Why is this book so religiously based? Why does god still give the devil Satan followers to act as angels and also give them the chance to repent?
