You can apply for reneal of Green Card; that will be no problem. Best bet for citizenship is to wait four more years before applying.

I moved from Company A to company B towards the end of my H1 6 th year with only a month and half left in my H1. Company B applied for my 140 and 140 was approved just on the day of my 6 year completion. H1 transfer was filed in parallel in normal processing. H1 transfer has got an RFE now a day after 140 was approved.
1. Will there be any problems in getting the H1 transfer based on the 140 approval with the new company? Please note that I do not have any days left in my original H1.
2. What will the duration of H1 if the transfer gets approved?
3. I am continuing to work based on 140 approval and pending h1 transfer. Please advice is it is ok.

I heard that it is pretty easy there. 2 years back One of my friend got 10 year multiple entry visa from singapore. He has told me that there was no queue in american consulate in Singapore.

My nationality is Indian. Presently i am residing in USA . I have " Advance Payrole Document " . I am planning to travel in this February 2011 from " Atlanta -> Frankfurt -> India(Hyderabad) " and return is in May 2011 from " India(Hyderabad) -> Frankfurt -> Atlanta " in lufthansa airways.
So shall i go for this round trip with a valid " Advance Payrole Document " only ? or i need to have " Air Transit Visa ? If i need Air transit Visa could you please let me know how to apply and what documents i need to submit .
please help already buyed tickets from lufthansa website. non refundable ticket. before that one time i cancelled ticket. airport transit visa shall we apply by post/mail ? in person cant go because very far totally 30 hors drive that too with infant driving not possible . please help ?

keep in touch with me. i will try to go to local office after 90 days (ie after oct 2nd) in case i dont get EAD by then (my lawyer sent my 485 on 6.29.2007) . its just to expedite not for interim EAD. cause they dont issue interim EADs anymore.
but if you have decided to file for H1 then no point in waiting for another month.
in my case the lawyer takes too much money, even though i dont pay directly but it comes out of my salary, ultimately thats why i am not pushing for my H1 extension.
also i am hoping i will get my 140 by then so that i can get 3 yr extension.

There are many diferent opinions, i too understood that renewals and extensions wont be subject to cap. But there is no clear statement on my scenario.

If you didnt initially use your EAD to work, you should be fine because you have a valid H1B! See my other thread on this matter please.

Hi All,
I need to travel urgently to India due to some family issue and my EAD is expiring in Aug 2010. I need to apply for my renewal before I fly out this Sunday since I will have to be in India for 30 days. Can I e file my application from here and send the supporting documentation by Saturday? If so, I want to make sure that if for some reason, I get a biometrics appt., while in India, how can I postpone it? and also there won't be any issues with my EAD renewal app since I will be India and My I 94 will change once I am back.

-> i guess there is a provision to delay your FP if it arrives for any reason, any of your representative here can scan and let u see the contents , there will be a phone to call and postpone.
-> if you are C9 category ( 485 in EB category ) , you donot need i94 number , you need alien number.

There was a CBP Admission Review Squad at Washinton Dulles Airport on 11th evening. They sent all passengers from multiple flights to secondary check where they had to wait for over 4 hours. They were instances were people were not admitted or given just 1 month entry with specific instructions written on I94 that they cannot apply for EOS or AOS. This is for visiting Visa.

You should have asked before filing for an extension or do a search at USCIS Home Page (http://www.uscis.gov) you would have come across the below:

Hi, Please let me know your thought on my situation. I was on H1 thru Company A. I don't have pay stubs for the last 3 months of 2005 since i was on bench, but got the salary that is mentioned on LCA in pay stubs till end of Sept. When I asked my employer to pay me for the time on bench he said that he has paid the LCA salary and doesn't have to pay.
So having said that, am I in Status or Out of Status?
If the W-2 is for more than the LCA requirement, you don't have any thing to worry about.
