In Washington D.C. a homeless man was attacked & left dying on a busy side walk & no one called for help until after about 20minutes. He died. This video here shows it all. Shows people walk right pass his unconscious body. Some people didn't assume he was hurt, but homeless dudes don't lie like that & someone had to have seen the attack.

“Since when did a woman’s weight become newsworthy… I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister’s weight. A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman’s weight or figure as a headline on Fox News.

All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you’re a celebrity, there shouldn’t be a different standard. Is this something you would say to your wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, or even a friend? I seriously doubt it.

LAUREN HUTTON: Living inside a fish bowl can make you nutty. What's been the hardest part of it for you?

LINDSAY LOHAN: You know what's hard? I want to give back. I want to do all the things that will make me feel fulfilled. But whenever I do those things, people think it's a press stunt or something. Because they do find me, and there's really no way of hiding from that. And the second that you complain about it, they say, "Well, this is what you wanted, so this is what you're going to get." That's all people see it as now. It's not, "No, I just want to have some time for myself." There are things I want to do, and people don't understand that. You know, my car accident that I got into, where I got my first charge, I wouldn't have been speeding up like I was if I didn't have people shoving cameras in my windows.

LH: You were running away?

LL: Yeah, I was. I was running away from the paparazzi.

LH: Who wouldn't be running away? It's scary.

LL: Especially late at night, when you're trying to turn a corner, and then somebody else is speeding up alongside you. So, you know, it's okay for someone to chase me and then try to cut me off so I ram my car into a tree . . . I mean, I know this guy was trying to do his job, but his "job" almost landed me half-dead.

LH: Not only that, but they all stand to make a lot more money at it if they've got pictures of you in a car crashed into a tree.

LL: Exactly. So they're instigating and antagonizing you. All of them aren't bad. But I will tell you that I had one of these guys drive into the side of my car once. That's how I met my criminal defense attorney. I think the guy who hit me wound up going to jail for a few days. I was not injured. I sprained my ankle because the door hit me really hard, but I've sprained my ankle a lot of times before, from soccer and dancing and ballet.

LH: When was this accident?

LL: This was a year or two before the other one.

LH: How old were you?

LL: I was just turning 19. I was driving my Mercedes, my favorite car, which I worked my ass off to buy for myself . . . I had to just give it away because I was like, "It's bad luck now." At the same time, though, I am sort of a speed demon. It's exhilarating.

LH: I am too. I mean, I crashed going 110 miles an hour.

LL: On a racetrack?

LH: I was racing, but I wasn't on a racetrack. But I was going 110 miles an hour on a motorcycle, and I just went into the air . . .

LL: How long ago was that?

LH: Eight years ago. I was in a race with a bunch of guys.

LL: On a motorcycle? Is that necessary?

LH: I know, it was too much. I don't do it anymore. I sold all my motorcycles. I was dead, basically. So, anyway, let's have a cigarette.

LL: I have to pee, too. Restroom break!

LH: Turn that off.

LL: I wanted to be a movie star. But movie stars are not what they used to be. When I was a kid, I thought movie stars were women and men who were in these great films that we still look at now. But I don't think there are too many films coming out these days that we're going to look at in the future and say, "This is one of the great ones." Like, what is the great film that I will tell my children about? I'm still going to tell them about the old films, the Hitchcock films. And people my age don't even know who those people are. I can't even have a conversation with most people of my generation about that, because they'd be like, "Okay, she's a freak. Something's wrong with her." And the worst part is, in terms of what people see of me, I have become this girl who just loves to be photographed, doesn't know how to focus, doesn't know how to work on set, just loves the attention, knows how to go out at night, knows how to party. And you know what? I was 20 years old. I never went to college. And I lived maybe six months out of my life like that, doing something wrong, and then I stopped. God forbid I should have ever learned my lesson. But at this point it's so hard for people to even believe that there was a lesson to be learned at all, because they just think I'm wrong. All these people think I'm never going to be right, because it's more interesting to fabricate this other girl. Who wants to read a tabloid story about a girl who is doing well?

LH: Or a girl who takes her responsibilities seriously.

LL: I mean, it's this business. Heath Ledger once said something about this to me. He said: "It's build you up to knock you down, and that's all it is. And you just have to see if you can stand through it." And it is like that, if you put yourself in this situation. I was young, so maybe I did . . . I always wanted to take the blame. I've always been apologetic for other people's faults.

LH: But part of that is what being young is about.

LL: And I didn't even try everything. I was too afraid. The one thing I tried was the wrong thing. And maybe it was just because I'd seen someone else in my family do it-not my mother. But, I don't know, it really . . . It sucks.

Did you guys hear about this new show coming to MTV? It's called "How's your news?" and it has a disabled cast, that go around the country and interviews celebrities, feature music, and good old news. I'm not sure what message MTV is trying to send- I'm going to have to further investigate. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING TO BE THE NEXT "REALITY" SHOW! Premieres February 8th at 10:30pm!

The team of reporters takes viewers along for a wild ride with adventures, including covering the Grammy’s red carpet, surfing with pro surfers, performing at the SXSW music festival, making cheese balls with Amy Sedaris and having John Stamos as a wingman.

“How’s Your News?” began over ten years ago at a summer camp for people with disabilities. Director Arthur Bradford taught a video class there and began producing short films featuring reporters with disabilities who would enthusiastically interview people on the street. The shorts, with their unexpected blend of raw humor and sincerity, caught the eye of Matt Stone and Trey Parker of “South Park” fame. Stone and Parker executive produced a feature film that followed five reporters on a road trip across America, which was widely embraced and won several film festival awards. Since its inception in 1998, “How’s Your News?” has built an passionate cult following with the release of three previous documentaries and a CD of soundtrack music performed by the cast.

“How’s Your News?” is executive produced by Arthur Bradford, Matt Stone and Trey Parker. The concept is by Arthur Bradford and Chad Urmston. Jen Ollman serves as Supervising Producer. Chris Linn is executive producer and MTV executive in charge of production.

The jail system is so fucked up

My mom was telling me how guards in Riker's Island were making inmates fight other inmates in this "secret society". They would pay the inmates with cigarettes, clothes, phone privileges, and more. They called the fight club The Program. Anyone who refused to participate would be beat up. All the participating inmates were young, most of them 18. The sad part is that all this was brought up after 18 year old Christopher Robinson was beaten to death for refusing to participate. He was murdered by suspected 18 year old inmates told to do so by these 3 guards (1 woman, 2 men). The guards plead not guilty and they're in custody now. This is disgusting. The United States needs some serious fucking help. You know a lot of people in jail are there for non-violent crimes, like robbery or drugs. Then they go in and are subjected to violence. It's so fucking sad. These guards cannot get away with this. R.I.P Christopher. Damn I'm so tired of having to say that.

sad news

I heard a lot of sad news today. Here's one:
A man recently fired from his hospital job in West Los Angeles, killed his wife, their five children (ages 2-8), and then killed himself after calling LAPD & saying “I just returned home, and my whole family has been shot.”
His wife use to work for the same hospital. His suicide note said that him & his wife made a suicide pact. “So after a horrendous ordeal, my wife felt it better to end our lives, and why leave our children in someone’s else’s hands,” the note said.
What kind of crazy shit is this? How selfish could they be? It's sad, we'll never understand what they hell they were thinking. God, I just hope these kids were asleep, and didn't have to see their father shoot them. It pisses me off.
R.I.P. kids.

Coraline

Coraline is an animated movie about a little girl (voice by Dakota Fanning) who is unsatisfied with her life & family. She discovers a secret door in her house that takes her to a parallel world. It seems like a better version of her life, until shit gets dangerous, and she has to find her way back home.
I'm not normally into these kind of movies, or animation, but Coraline really intrigues me. The tag lines, Be Careful What You Wish For, and Some Doors Should Never Be Opened, are words of advice we've all dealt with at sometime or another. Plus the movie looks terrifically creepy.
In theaters February 6th

Directed by the Nightmare before Christmas' Henry Selick & based on the novel by Neil Gaiman.
