Yeeeeaaaahh!!!!!

Photobucket

East New York! I fucking love The Ringmasters. They were the bottom 2 on today's America's Best Dance Crew. It was a Britney Spears challenge & last week the judges asked them to bring more choreography. They did..their way. It was a mad creative performance...as usual. It was between them & Team Millennia, who gave a good performance. But it went to The Ringmasters baby! I'll be back with videos once they're up.

ABDC Beat Freaks!

Yo Beat Freaks is definitely my favorite crew so far. This week's performances were all just okay for me. Even the Ringmasters, my team, I love 'em , but I think this might not be the show for them. Just 'cause they're style is so different & America votes. Who knows let's see. I still voted for them o.d. But the Beat Freaks are B-Girls & they're the shit. Next week they pay tribute to Britney Spears! Yay, I'm mad hype for that.

They start at around 2:57

East New Yoooork!!

Aw man aw man. America's Best Dance Crew Season 3 auditions took place & guess who ripped the stage!? The Ringmasters! Yo these dudes come from right over here in good ol' East NY, Brooklyn! Their actually go by Main Event. I went to ENYFA high school wit Jay (Johnathan George). Yo when lil mama started to cry I couldn't help but to either. Cause yo we been watching dudes flexing on Flex N Brooklyn for years! Since I was little. I even been to a couple shows. It only came on BCAT, a channel only in Brooklyn, every Friday. The show was crazy. I'm so proud of Jay and 'em for making it to ABDC. They still got round two to go, hope they make it. They fucking better!
Jump to see the trailer from their dvd, ridiculous! And more info & vids.

best video I could find

They normally dance this to dancehall/reggae. Yo this is what my high school talent shows looked like but liver! Jay use to fucking kill the spider, running across the walls & shit. All the girlies sweated Jay. I couldn't even deny his cuteness. Fa real so proud of them. Yal gotta see more Flexing. It started on Flex N Brooklyn. Funk Fleeex! That show was the illest. The talent crazy , a lot of not so talent too tho lol (secret below) but pretty much anyone could get on. But only the best made it every Friday, killin' it. Hyperactive, Unexspected, Restricted, Showtime, always there. ENY baby!!! Like Fab said on the Brooklyn we go hard freestyle.
"Before BET everybody watched BCAT" and now we're watching Flexing on MTV. Crazy.

They go as Ringmasters for ABDC but they've been Maint Event for years. They have a DVD out called The Takeover. Here's the trailer

Here they discuss a little of their history but at about 3:21 their battle wit the another group called Status Quo starts. But at 4:00 you gotta watch what Spyda does with his hats! The illusion is unbelievable. Skills man. I miss watching Flex. Flexing is the fucking illest. Brooklyn! ENY, you know I can't stop saying it. lol

FLEX N BROOKLYN episodes. Watch 'em!!!!

Last Chance Performance

Super Cr3w should win America's Best Dance Crew. And since I complain so much, I voted. 3 times. Super Cr3w just really tore that stage up. The last chance performance was to show why they should be abdc. Shit I'm convinced. But SoReal Cru did fuck it up too. The intro/very beginning was ill. The rest was ok, the song heightened them. But the outfits were fresh. They went hard though, jump to see.

this ones just perfectly commercial

Fanny Pack is America's Best Dance Crew

Fanny Pack was the most creative, the most innovative, entertaining, the illest, and the best dance crew on this fucking MTV show. America is fucking stupid! I do not understand why So Real is doing so well. It's truly mind boggling. This is why I've lost faith in humanity. I also don't really understand the judges decision. I am a Super Cru fan, and this show's finale should be between them & Fanny Pack, but I have to say that Fanny Pack's dancing skills are off the chain. Simple. At least their last show repped the decade that inspired them. It was really sad to see them go. I hope we'll be seeing more of them. Check the MTV site to see their best routines...including the Missy performance that gave them the only ever ABDC standing ovation.

p.s i know im mad late
peace my loves

The American Mall: Love & Dreams are not for sale

MTV's version of their high school musical, The American Mall, premieres August 11th at 9pm! Keep a heads up for our 21-7 exclusive review! But peep the story line for now!

Set in the kind of mall that's always been a home away from home for teens everywhere, “The American Mall” is the story of Ally, a hardworking young woman whose mother has owned a music shop that's been the soul of the mall ever since it opened when Ally was a kid. Ally's singer/songwriter dreams seem to come closer to fruition when she meets Joey, a musician who's moonlighting as a janitor at the mall in order to support his own rock star ambitions. While Joey understands her songs (and heart) like no one else, Ally's happiness and the fate of the music store are threatened when the mall owner's spoiled daughter Madison – who will stop at nothing to get what she wants – becomes involved.

JUMP for more info & pics!

Starring Roles:
“The American Mall” stars Nina Dobrev (“Degrassi: The Next Generation”) as Ally, Rob Mayes as Joey, Autumn Reeser (“The O.C.,” “Lost Boys: The Tribe”) as Madison Huxley, Yassmin Alers (“Rent”) as Erin, Ally’s mom, and Al Sapienza (“The Sopranos”) as shopping mall owner and Madison’s dad, Max Huxley. Rounding out the cast are Wade Allain-Marcus as Ricky, Neil Haskell (“So You Think You Can Dance”) as Drew, David Baum as Stavros, Brooke Lyons (“American Dreams”) as Dori, Blythe Auffarth (“Veronica Mars”) as Alexa, Bresha Webb (“Lincoln Heights”) as Little Penny, Bianca Collins (“Unfabulous”) as Mia and Rodney To as Ben. Shawn Ku directs the movie and choreographs the musical numbers with Bonnie Story (“High School Musical”). The teleplay is by Margaret Oberman from a story by Tomas Romero and P.J. Hogan. Arata Matsushima, Barry Rosenbush, Jeff Yapp and Lisa Silfen are executive producers. They call it Afrobatics baby!

Wow! The birthday celebration turned out a little different than what we planned, but it was still an amazing day! Instead of Santogold, Kid Cudi & friends, we ended up being entertained by some real mothafucking HUSTLA$$!!

JUMP for more

Their names are Meek da Freak (Left) & Sugar Ray (Right) a.k.a. THE SHIIIIT but they prefer, The Afrobats

Please respect the grind- they are not new to this. They have made appearances in other events such as; Law & Order, The Broadway play "Forever Swing," and even went on tour with KRS1. Their 20 minute routine was entertaining every single second.

Who woulda thunk gravity-defying stunts + hilarious racist & sexist jokes = a genius hustle!

Sugar Ray jumped over these peeps ^ in the vid below

I'm sure all have seen this face before.

That's right, she is also known as Danielle Ninja, voguing queen!. She's 22yrs old and reppin' the Bronx, NY. She's super cute, very sexy, and one hell of a dancer. Here's her Touch video....Jump

So You Think You Can Dance

This is one of the best dance shows out right now because it has a variety of dance styles, and all the dancers have to be well trained in the art of dance to pull off all these routines. The show airs on Fox 5 every Wednesday @ 8pm and the results show is every Thursday at 9pm. I have a few favorite couples, and one of them is Mark & Chelsea. They're a really cute couple and they are both amazing dancers. I also love Joshua & Katee, these two seem like the underdogs when you look at them, but they are both outstanding dancers. And then there's Twitch & Kherington. Two loveable people with great personalities and great moves to back em up. This season's hip hop routines have been pretty whack. They def need to step it up there. But their contemporary routines have taken the spotlight. They've all been so passionate. Mia Michaels is a genius. Jump for some of my favorite routines.

Mark & Chelsea Hip Hop

Twitch & Kherington Contemporary (the most amazing)

Joshua & Katee Contemporary (absolutly breath taking)

oh to be in love

The Jabbawockeez have been sitting on top of the world after winning the title of America's Best Dance Crew season 1. We know they ain't been getting no sleep.
With all their t.v appearances, performances from the West to the East & everything in between, even charity events, plus they're the new models of SHMACK clothing.
We are constantly being reminded of their greatness.
And these dudes desearve all the praise. A group of hip hop loving, b-boy moving friends from Cali are defitnitly America's Best Dance Crew. They hit their moves so smooth and so hard at the same time. The masks just accentuate their skills. And it hides them individually as they dance, that personally, anyone of them can get it. But when they take the masks off they just seem like a bunch of cool dudes we would love to chill with.
Everytime I hear Rick Ross' Boss track, I think of these dudes. They got that kind of effect on people.

Check their site Jabbawockeez.com for all the good info.

Jump for these great compilation videos
man oh man they're the shit.

America's Best Dance Crew

This is a really tough show. What was so amazing 'bout season 1, was that every group was extremely different. Like they all repped different styles & they all went hard at what they did. I think season 2 is gona try to do the same thing, except the genre of groups is going to be different, of course. Hopefully America's ready for the switch up. And hopefully these crews bring it even harder than season 1's crews. I don't think any of the crews really brought it for the auditions so I won't call out any favs but I'm confident they'll bring it for the actual show. They betta.

Premieres this Thursday! Holla!
