2011 A.I.D.S Walk « News from Jaleesa

The 26th annual A.I.D.S walk was a success.  Gay Men's Health Crisis, other local A.I.D.S service organizations and 45, 000  supporters came out to participate in this event, raising 6.2 million dollars.  

"This was wonderful, young, old, black and white, we all came together for a great cause," Sharon Hall commented after the walk.

The funds that was raised will help GMHC and its partners to continue their  prevention work that reaches many people in the tri-state area, as well as provide food, medical care, counseling,  housing, and much more to people in need living with HIV/AIDS.
