Alysia vs. Alycia

I have never experienced this before. Someone has my same name.. and the same nickname!! The neighbor on the new (spoon-fed) show, "Daddy's Girls," name is Alycia.. pronounced ah-lee-see-ah... the same as mine!! Although, I still have to find another (specifically spelled) Alysia. AND her nickname is the same as mine, Lissy!!! Haha, now that nickname is a funny story- for me- my Grandpa couldn't pronounce my name. It's funny b/c on all our videos from Christmas you can hear him callin me, "Alisha, Alisha" and my mom used to scream the correct way- soooo they made up Lissy, pronounced Lee-see... and now.. that's the bitch on Daddy's Girls nickname too!

Other than that.. I like the character that Angela has become on this show. She is ultra outgoing, silly, and funny. But I absolutely hate when she says, "Alycia" because it sounds annoying. But Angela's protruding upper lip is sooo gross and it's MAD ass that TK is such a big topic on the show. She is definitely ruining his public image by boasting about her virginity and saying "the man just couldn't wait for it." Vanessa is still the mature older sister looking after, caring for, and laughing at her irresponsible and unpredictable little sister. And their cousin, Jessica has the meeeeean man voice... its kinda annoying and scary too. But the show is cool.. I guess. The end of the show features them reading off a moral.. just like Rev Run reading his off his blackberry in the bathtub.

I feel that my identity has been taken, and it has ruined the chances of Alysia being cool for me. Because now she is going to be the image for all ah-lee-see-ah's in the world, but she is pretty.. so its not too bad.
