5 reasons why Sarah Palin should BEAT IT:

1. Nobody knows who you are. John McCain introduced you to the country. Since said introduction, we still have no idea who you are.

2. You're the governor of Alaska. Great! (No sarcasm intended) Prior to this position (which, btw, you've only held for 2 years) you held a position on the Wasilla, AK city council, and then was elected for 2 terms as mayor of Wasilla. The estimated population of Wasilla is believed to be 7,025 people. That's (roughly) less than one third of the population of Brooklyn, NY. Loads of experience, eh?

3. You told America, the mass of voters who hold yours and Johnny boys fate in their hands, that you really didn't know what the point of a VP was. Are we missing the humor? Did we take this out of context? Is John McCain really 72 years old, with a history of health problems? Do you realize that should (God forbid) something happen to him while in office, you (YES, you) are next in line for running this country? Thats a pretty big step. Wasilla to WORLD. Did those words really come out of your mouth?

4. Aside from your official appointment as the Republican VP choice, the next big announcement came through the news of your 17 year old daughters pregnancy. The headlines that America woke up to involved words such as: Babies, Lies and Scandal. All qualities imperative to a woman of (possible) high-office.

Note: US Weekly and similar magazines are the perfect catalysts to gain votes and respect.

Now, believe me, I'm not judging you OR your daughter, at all. Where I come from, teen pregnancy isn't just a rare and tragic event, its an increasingly accepted and relatively normal happening. Your youngest has Down-Syndrome. The requires an altered lifestlye, one that often times revolves around the child, as it should. In light of this, can we fairly expect you to put our needs (and the needs of our country) in front of the needs of your family, who will need you more than ever, now? The President and Vice-President's main concern is supposed to be his/her country, and its people. I just don't see it happening, cupcake.

5. You are under investigation (you got a head start! good!) for a possible misuse of power after you fired former public safety commissioner Walt Monegan after he refused to fire a state trooper who had recently divorced your sister. This would make an amazing soap opera. Directors/producers, are you listening?!

It's nothing personal sweetheart, honestly. Just trust us with this one. We (coughObamacough) got it this time.
