So the CW is bringing back 90210. And i'm not really feeling it. Just what we need to save prime time t.v., another rich kids show. I doubt it'll do well...Gossip Girls isn't even doing well, and i love that show, but the season finale was the wackest.
This cast is a bit lame too...& hey one black kid...saved from a horrible foster home, adopted by the wealthy...how unique.
Can't we just keep those great memories of the original 90210?
and can't we get a show based on a new group of kids?
I mean really, as if we don't see how these rich brats live enough!

Harold Hunter Day II

Harold Hunter was a professional skateboarder and actor (played in Larry Clark's film KIDS) who passed away in February of 2006. So loved and missed, an annual Harold Hunter day takes place, the 2nd one was held on May 17th of 2008. The day included a skate jam and live music at Manhattan Bridge skate park and an after party at KCDC skate shop in Williamsburg, Bklyn. Over 500 skaters attended! Unfortunately we missed the event, but we'll be there next year. Looked like bunches of fun.

Caixinha para a Joaninha

Olá meninas/os espero que tenham tido um bom fim de semana. O meu foi até bem giro. No sábado fui passear á feira de artesanato na Expo e vi coisas lindissimas, mas não vi ninguém que eu conhecesse, muitas bancas não tinham nome e assim não falei com ninguém.

Quero hoje mostrar-vos a primeira parte de uma encomenda feita pela Cláudia. Uma menina incrivel e que eu adoro e que visito diariamente, já não passo sem os seus posts diários.

Ela pediu-me duas caixinhas sem divisórias para colocar as coisinhas dos filhotes.

Esta caixinha é para a sua filhota Joaninha, e como tal o tema tinha mesmo que ser com joaninhas.

A Cláudia apenas me pediu que a caixa não tivesse apliques por cima e por trás, e que por dentro tb não queria desenhos.

Depois de algumas ideias, foi este o resultado final.

É parecida com uma outra que eu fiz, mas foi assim que a Cláudia quis.

O interior ela queria com florzinhas, mas que iriam dar o relevo que ela não queria.

Então sugeri pintar em vermelho e fazer pintinhas em preto de vários tamanhos como numa joaninha.

Aqui, os vários apliques que coloquei na frente e laterais da caixa.

Já sei que ela adorou.

Depois mostro-vos a que fiz para o filhote dela.

glow in the dark concert!!

wow! we had an amazing time at the glow in the dark concert yesterday! we didn't see much of lupe but we loved the emotion in his face, N*E*R*D got everyone up and jumpin, & showed mad love to the fans all the way in the back, rihanna gained much respect through her performance. and for kanyeezy!?! he was inspiring, life changing and AMAZING in every way, shape and form. we saw the beauty in all these artists that night. the intimacy of music is unstoppable. the power of the words that Kanye West speaks can take over the soul. he changed us. Thank you big brother.
