"Maximum Gaming - Lan Center" Gaming Center Santacruz East Mumbai

A new Gaming cafe called "Maximum Gaming - Lan Center" has been set up at Santacruz East Mumbai recently. Maximum Gaming alias MAG is India's first gaming cafe to introduce the NVIDIA 3D Vision technology. Founded by Alex Dsouza, who has been in the animation education space for last five years and who is also the Director of animation institute CREATVT, MAG boosts of a collection of latest games and exceptional graphics for ultimate user experience.

The café is equipped with 18 powerful gaming PC's consisting of Intel's Core 2 Quads and Core i7's, complete with NVIDIA Physx technology. Some of the most popular games that are being played at the café include Crysis, Need For Speed - Undercover, Burnout Paradise and Red Alert 3 amongst others.

Mr. Alex D’souza shared, “We had been planning on establishing a cafe for a quite a long time, as I am a hardcore gamer myself. For a year we spoke to a lot of technology vendors like Intel, NVIDIA and also to some gaming publishing companies like Excel Interactive who handle EA games in India to provide the best solutions and best gaming infrastructure." "We are the first café to be equipped with NVIDIA’s 3D vision technology which enables the users to relish the games with stereoscopic 3D imagery. The way 3D games we meant to be played.

The café is also equipped with NVIDIA PhysX(R) so that customers can experience Realistic Gaming. Currently we are not looking at expansion through the franchisee model but are keen on coming up with our own centers across India.”
On the console front the café is currently equipped with Nintendo Wii, motion gaming console, and depending on the demand has plans to install other brands of gaming consoles as well. “Gaming is a perennially green market provided you introduce what is latest and what is best. There is no age limit to gamers. But the market hasn’t picked that well in India as there is a lack of awareness about the same. We plan to do our bit to promote gaming not only through the cafe but we are also planning to introduce courses for game programming and scripting at CREATVT,” adds Alex.

On the marketing front, MAG is planning to associate with on ground gaming events along with direct marketing promotions.
Alex shares, “Gaming is still dormant here in India as gaming is no fun sitting at home playing over the internet. It is a collaborative activity and that’s what we want to push through MAG."
"Maximum gaming has been set up so that people around Mumbai can get a true taste of what it is to play games with awesome graphics that run smoothly so one can really appreciate games for what they are and not compromise on quality. At Maximum Gaming Gamers will Collaborate, Compete and Celebrate," he concludes.
