Southbank visit « Dale and Elna bust out of the mould

Ok so, while Dez was here one of the things we did was visit the South Bank with Hester, Herman plus kids. There was a chinese festival of sorts going on, hence all the lanterns. We rode on the big wheel and had dinner at a restaurant there.

We arrived via the ferry as the sun was going down. These are looking north west over the river at parts of the cbd.

Walking under the steel arches with flowers on them… which now have the lanterns too. There's a long walkway running all along the southbank with theser arches / flowers.

These were taken from the ferry on the way home, one looking back at the south bank, the other looking forwards towards the city.
