Fame's Allure

Poise, class and style all have one thing in common: Fame's Allure. NYC based men's clothing line Fame's Allure made it's debut on August 2nd at The Plumm and 21-7 was in the building! Founders/Designers Sherman Joseph, Preston O. Williams, Duane Thomas and Robert Seshie--collectively known as Fame's Allure, released their first official drop, "The Emotions Collection", just in time for the Fall '08 season.

Combining 1920s era class with modern ingenuity, FA's goal is to capture the sleek and polished beauty of a previous era and add to it the innovative thinking that defines modern fashion. "The Emotion's Collection" included everything from V-neck, button down cardigans to pullover fleece sweaters, vest's, tweed jackets, striped pullovers, and zip-up hoodies. A variety of pastel colors and deep, fall induced colors are available for most cuts.

The show was intimate, and through the use of performers Jesse Boykins III and Theophilus London, FA was able to vibe with the audience and spark their interest not only in the clothes being shown, but in the people behind Fame's Allure as well. By the end of the show, it was clear that the men behind FA are dedicated to maintaining and improving their art.

The Emotion's Collection is available for purchase now at the Fame's Allure website. Check out some photos below, you can find more photos at the site. Add FA on Myspace here.
