TRINAYANI is a welfare trust which uses the “arts” to change perceptions about the value of people with disabilities. We believe that neglecting the cause of including people with disabilities in the mainstream of social life, happens more out of ignorance, misinformation and exposure to Appropriate Visibility. We thus create films and design and present Disability Equality workshops keeping in mind the specific needs of persons with disability who are exposed to the “receiving end” of any profession or trade. Disability Awareness to us is a process of erasing fear and confusion and helping accept and understand people with differing abilities.
We now have a small rented office in Mumbai and Trinayani is now registered under section 12AA of the Income tax Act . All donations in cash or cheque to Trinayani are exempt under Section 80 G of the Income Tax Act 1961 valid from 09.04.2009 till 31.03.2012
