Springsteen Saxophonist Clarence Clemons Suffers Stroke

Springsteen Saxophonist Clarence Clemons Suffers Stroke

E Street Band favorite Clarence Clemons is ailing. The iconic saxophonist, who has played alongside Bruce Springsteen for over 30 years, reportedly suffered a stroke while at his home in Florida.

On Sunday night, Showbiz411.com reported that Clemons' medical situation was very grave and that his bandmates were reportedly heading down to see their pal in a hurry. Fox 5 News reported Monday that the musician is now paralyzed on the left side of his body.

In addition to being The Boss' right-hand man for years, Clemons recently joined Lady Gaga on stage at the American Idol finale. His talents are featured on new songs on Gaga's Born This Way album, including her newest hit, "Edge of Glory." Last week, Clemons was scheduled to play the national anthem before Game Two of the NBA Finals, but had to cancel last minute due to a hand injury.

We wish him a speedy recovery.
