Move over, Katie Couric! You're not the only one with a daytime TV show in the works. According to The Hollywood Reporter, reality star Bethenny Frankel is in the midst of filming the pilot for her own, advice-based talk show with Telepictures (a division of Warner Brothers).
And Ellen DeGeneres (whose talk show is also with Telepictures) is involved with the production!
So what does a talk show helmed by the former Real Housewives of New York star look like? Based on her past interviews, it will be a give-and-take dialogue with real people. "I would like a daytime talk show because my conversation with my fans right now is through social networking, and my TV show communicates what I'm doing, but it isn't really a dialogue or a conversation," she told PopEater in February.
And in this clip from Frankel's recent audience Q&A on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, we can see the sort of advice that the 40-year-old star might dispense. In other words, she'll be helping people figure out ways to fit in more "nookie-nookie" in their lives. (Her expression, not ours!)
Frankel's certainly on a roll. Her Housewives' spin-off, Bethenny Ever After, has been picked up for a third season, too. The Real Housewives of New York may not need her, but it seems she doesn't need them, either.
